This is a sweet functional blade that comes with a nylon scabbard. Based on the awesome film 300 by Zac Synder, you do not have to stand about with your nether regions clad with leather to appreciate it. No really, its OK to wear clothes and frankly, I for one would be far more comfortable if you would.

First Alien scared the crap out of me as a teenager (snuck into the movie cos i was under age) then James Cameron upped the ante with Aliens and turned Sigorney Weaver into an action star. Then that other action star (Arnold) went bush and found an adversary in the Predator that even he had a hard time defeating. After that things got kinda silly and finally some movie mogul had the brain wave to put the two Franchises together... and before you could say "I'll be back", the AvP concept hit the screens.

So aside from some nice shots of Sienna Miller in a tight leather outfit, this film was a bit of a train wreck.....except for this cool sword used by Darth Maul (er sorry) Snake Eyes. Hey gimme a break here, he doesn't say anything, and has a cool sword, in both movies. Oh and there is a sequel that refuses to be released until the moons align. Straight to DVD I hear you say???

The nemesis of Snake Eyes, Storm Shadow (what sort of parent calls their kid Storm Shadow, or Snake Eyes for that matter) he is also fairly cool, and he has two swords. A Katana and a Wakizashi.

From the classic 1986 movie....there can be only one....QUOTE:-"I am Connor MacLeod of the Clan MacLeod. I was born in 1518 in the village of Glenfinnan on the shores of Loch Shiel. And I am immortal." This is the family sword Conner carries into battle before falling before the blade of the Kurgan (hey he was a bit of a wimp so its not the swords fault) and realising he can not die.

Ok so I could go plunder Wikipedia to get info about Old Edd, but suffice to say he continues Sean Beans tradition and is the central figure in the 1st Season of A Game of Thrones. Eddard Stark (No relation to Tony) is an honorable man and that is his greatest problem and one that leads to his eventual ....well if you haven't heard by now close your eyes whilst reading this next bit....demise. This sword is the one he uses to teach his youngest son about justice and one can only wonder why he didn't use it on Roberts son Joffrey (LOL , wink, snigger)

The sword of Elendil was forged anew by Elvish smiths, and on its blade was traced a device of seven stars set between the crescent Moon and the rayed Sun, and about them was written many runes; for Aragorn, son of Arathorn was going to war upon the marches of Mordor. Very bright was that sword when it was made whole again; the light of the sun shone redly in it, and the light of the moon shone cold, and its edge was hard and keen. And Aragorn gave it a new name and called it Andúril, Flame of the West."
