OK so this is not a sword, nor is it something for Cosplay, but they are freakin cool!! Ever wanted to have an Umbrella that was more than an Umbrella, well this aint it...well not exactly. It looks for all the world like a sword but in reality its is a super functional umbrella to keep you dry in the rain.
Another in the range of unnaturally stylish Anime Umbrellas. This one is styled on Rukia's zanpaku-tō, Sode no Shirayuki (literally "sleeved white snow") Doncha just love the cool names they make up for these swords? Anywho this umbrella is both stylish and has the unusual ability to prevent you from getting wet in the rain. Try that with a standard katana will ya!!
Some great movies arrived in 2012 with the Avengers topping the list IMHO. old Cap is not everyone's cup of tea and to be fair prior to the movies I was not much of a fan. But I thought he came across OK and loved the shield bouncing about knocking the stuffing outa his enemies. Anyhow this is a classy shield which looks simply stunning in the flesh (steel?). Please note we are not to be held responsible if you throw it about seeking to disable (or decapitate) your foes.

In the closing scenes of the Movie Conan, Arnold has just made a bit of a twat of himself, lost his beloved girlfriend who was struck by a snake that was used as an arrow (it was THAT kind of movie- if you don't believe me rent it) and runs off to set a trap for Darth Vader (sorry, he was just the voice)I meant Thulsa Dooms' followers. He does so with his normal aplomb killing and dismembering those unfortunate enough to be thinking about voting Democratic and not Republican....oh and the point of all this.... is he wears a helmet like this one.

So when its dark and raining outside, who wants to head out into the weather with a 'normal umbrella? I mean come on normal is for ordinary people and I have been called many things in my life, but Normal is not one of them!
