First Alien scared the crap out of me as a teenager (snuck into the movie cos i was under age) then James Cameron upped the ante with Aliens and turned Sigorney Weaver into an action star. Then that other action star (Arnold) went bush and found an adversary in the Predator that even he had a hard time defeating.
