OK I will admit, you will be hard pressed to find this actual sword in the Games, but its so cool it really dosnt matter.
From Squaresoft's classic game FFXIII (Final Fantasy 13 for you folks wot aint up with the play yet) comes the sword that looks so freakishly cool we just had to hunt it down and buy it. It wasn't easy and there are not that many available but here it is.....and its steel folks, not wooden or plastic.
The sword of Sephiroth. This is the sword he carries through the FF7 game and into the Kingdom Hearts series. This baby is 68" long (that's over 172cm for you metric folk) and is a real beauty. Huge reach and all the bragging rights. SPECIAL REDUCED PRICE
The Buster Sword is an iconic symbol from Final Fantasy VII, that has since appeared in several other games in the series. It serves as Cloud Strife's main weapon, and was wielded before him by Zack Fair and Angeal Hewley. The Buster Sword is classified as an enormous broadsword (though it has more in common with a zweihander). Despite it's size, Cloud claims that it's not that heavy.
Wooden Cosplay version of Yuffies' weapon of choice, from the famous Final Fantasy VII RPG.
Based on the blade Kadaj used in the Advent Children film, this blade(s) is simply stunning. A totally unique item which is not quite an exact replica of the FFAC item (see elsewhere on this site for that) this is truly a great sword.
Yes that's right....a Gunblade! The weapon of the main protagonist in FF8. Watch the opening sequence of the game to get an idea of how cool these are
This is Seifer's blade in FF8. Hyperion is the greek Titan of light, brother of Cronos and uncle of Zeus. He fought against his nephew in the wars between the Titans and the Olympians and was eventually locked in Tartarus with the rest of them when they lost. With his sister, Thea, he was the father of Helios, the god of the sun, and Selene, goddess of the moon, as well as Eos, greek goddess of the dawn. Hyperion is also a very rare type of double-edged sword that was used in the dark ages. If you look at Seifer's sword you will notice that both sides of the blade are sharpened.
In Final Fantasy VIII, all forms of Gunblade consist of some sort of sword blade with some type of gun action built into the hilt, with its barrel running inside the length of the blade. They are mostly used like normal swords, but triggering a round sends a shockwave through the blade, creating a vibration as the weapon passes through an opponent to increase damage.
@@SPECIAL PRICE@@ What can one say..........this is just FRIGGEN AWESOME!!!!!!!!(Please note the gratuitous overuse of exclamation marks) OK its not actually the blade that we see in Advent Children but it is one seriously cool sword......except its not just ONE blade, its actually 4 seriously cool blades in one. The photos simply do not do this one Justice.
Lightning from Final Fantasy XIII is a former soldier of the Cocoon military, Lightning has distinctive spiky pink hair and is 177 cm tall. In battle, Lightning wields a weapon called a Blaze Edge that is a combination of a gun and a sword.
Based on the Final Fantasy Advent Children film, this is a really sweet blade with plenty of materia slots to power up with. Comes with Materia already embedded in the blade [Magic (Green), Summon (Red) & one that look suspiciously like Holy! (White & Green mottled)]
If it wasnt for its larger brother this would be one of the best swords we have, but it is still waay cool and you might like to consider it as the sword Cloud begins with at the train station in the Final Fantasy VII game. Smaller and somewhat lighter this is a handsome blade that can not be denied.
OK we call this one 'massive', cos its ab-so-friggin-lutely huge!!! Seriously this thing weighs a ton (well actually 7.8 kilos) and your arm gets kinda sore real quick if you are holding the dang thing up one handed. It is based on the Advent Children sword that Cloud starts that movie with, not to be confused with the one he used in his battles with Bahamut, Kadaj & Sephiroth towards the end. I suppose if your picky its not really a Buster Sword, but, its a sword - its used by Cloud - it looks cool - and that's good enough for me.....did I mention its figgin huge?
This long, flowing mane of silver hair is instantly recognizable among Final Fantasy fans. It's the crowning glory of the character Sephiroth. It's the perfect finishing touch to your Final Fantasy costume.
